Syllabus

When working through the chapters follow this sequence:

1) Utilize the chapter power point presentations located on your CP Chemistry disc as a tool for concept understanding. Use your textbook as a reference. There are multiple interactives for your use listed in each each chapter on this wiki. These are not to be considered optional and a question concerning them could appear at any time on knowledge celebrations.

2) After reading the section, work the questions in the text at the end of the section. These questions are not graded and give you a chance to check your understanding of the section learning objectives.

3) Now do the homework for the section and check your answers.

4) Work the review sheet for the section. You should try and do the review sheet without any help; however, it is permitted to utilize any sources to work through the sheet. This sheet is self assessed and is not graded. Use it to assess your knowledge of the section!!

5) Once the review sheet is completed, take the quiz for that section. The quiz is a level 2 assessment.

6) Always seek the answers to your questions. Don't let them go unanswered. In case you "forgot" your textbook, there is an electronic copy on the CP Chemistry disc.

7) This is the PTE you will use for this course

8) HOMEWORK IS DUE WHEN YOU TAKE THE CHAPTER TEST. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. EXCUSES WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED. THIS CLASSROOM IS A NO WHINING ZONE.
